What You'll Do
• Build, deploy and optimize machine learning models which support content acquisition, enrichment and relevance activities;
• Mentor and provide technical support to more junior members of the team;
• Work in close partnership with Content, Product, Data and Technology teams to identify new opportunities to leverage Data Science and ensure that key projects that are carried out in the team are delivered in a timely fashion;
• Develop a deep understanding of data and ML infrastructure and champion infrastructure development needs which will help the whole team work more effectively;
• Be a technical leader on use, adoption and implementation of machine learning.
Who You Are
• MSc or PhD degree in any of the following fields: machine learning or computer science, mathematics with strong machine learning component;
• 5+ years hands on experience in machine learning in production, building datasets, selecting and engineering features, building and optimizing algorithms;
• Experience in several of the following domains: NLP, Deep Learning, Recommender Systems, Regression, Classification, Clustering;
• Experience with machine learning packages such as Python or R
• Experience with data visualization tools and packages.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques and technologies.
